Our Story
Linux for Work is a service offered by Linnflux, Inc. — a web services company serving businesses across Pennsylvania, Alabama, and New York.
We switched our own operation to Linux in 2020. Since then, we’ve built client projects, run our internal tools, managed communications, and handled everything a small business does — all on Linux. When we recommend it to you, it’s not theoretical.
What We Use
Every day, on Linux:
- Microsoft 365 for email, documents, and Teams communication
- Google Workspace for collaboration and shared drives
- Web-based CRMs, project management, and accounting tools
- Development environments for client web work
The hardware we run is a mix of older and newer machines. Linux extends the life of hardware that Windows 11 would leave behind.
Why We Built Linux for Work
Most businesses that could benefit from Linux don’t switch because they don’t have a guide. IT shops generally aren’t fluent in it. The documentation is scattered. The perception is that it’s too technical for a business environment.
It isn’t — but it does require knowing what you’re doing. That’s what we provide.
